CALL FOR PROPOSALS
Data Collection Vendor – International Remittance Recipients Survey, Nigeria
EFInA invites qualified data collection vendors to submit proposals for a nationally representative survey of international remittance recipients in Nigeria. Nigeria is the leading remittance-receiving country in sub-Saharan Africa, with inflows exceeding $20 billion in 2023. This assignment seeks to generate a comprehensive, demand-side analysis of recipients’ financial behaviours, product usage, satisfaction levels, and gender-based insights.
The selected vendor will conduct 2,000 face-to-face interviews across all six geopolitical zones, using a stratified multi-stage cluster sampling approach in collaboration with the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). The scope also includes qualitative data collection through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions, with particular attention to female participants and the Canada–Nigeria remittance corridor.
Eligible vendors must have a minimum of seven years of experience conducting large-scale household surveys in Nigeria, with demonstrated expertise in financial inclusion or remittance research, CAPI data collection, and a track record of quality delivery to international development organisations.
Proposals will be evaluated on technical approach (40%), team qualifications (25%), past performance (20%), cost competitiveness (10%), and innovation (5%).
