Coming Soon: Access to Financial Services in Nigeria 2020 Results

These days, we cannot go into a meeting without being asked, “When will the next A2F results be ready?”

EFInA publishes the nationally-representative Access to Financial Services in Nigeria Survey (or “A2F survey”) every two years. In 2020, the planned timeline was delayed slightly by the COVID pandemic, but we were able to start data collection late in the year and are concluding now. Results will be made public in April 2021.

In addition to providing the standard data on access to and use of financial services that we have published every two years since 2008, this year’s Access to Financial Services in Nigeria Survey will include some new information related to:

• Gender roles/norms
• Financial needs and financial health
• The impact of COVID
• Enhanced data on financial literacy/capability
